Craving Crochet?

I'm a beginning crocheter, and more than a little obsessed with the loveliness of the crocheted housewares - afghans, blankets, throws, pillows - that I see on Flickr almost every day. I'm working on a giant granny square blanket right now at home from my Malabrigo scraps, and thought some of you might consider doing the same -- crochet is a great way to experiment with color combination, whip up a quick project or gift, and use up scraps!
