  1. I just purchased a copy of Interweave Knits Holiday Gifts magazine and love the cowl knit in Malabrigo on page 55 in your ad. How can I obtain the pattern for this great cowl.

Thanks in advance for your help.

  6. Shame on you Mal for teasing us with such a pretty cowl and no pattern available until ?? Just not fair...hopefully you won't do it again.

  7. Ditto everyone else on here. I'm looking for the pattern for the cowl. It would have been perfect to make for Christmas gifts!!!! How will we know when the book comes out?

  8. I'm so happy to hear great things about the cowl featured in the Malabrigo ad because it was my own design and sample that I hand knitted! So exciting!!!

For those of you wishing to know the yarn and colorway, it is Rasta #862 Piedras. The lot I used seems to be much lighter than the Piedras sample shown on this website, but I promise that's the colorway!

I'm super excited to see the finished product of Book 3! Check out this post by Malabrigo for more patterns in the upcoming book: http://www.malabrigoyarn.com/wordpress/?p=741

  10. I agree that this was the perfect holiday gift, and, I am sorry to say, that I will not buy the book but would have bought the pattern. Now I have to go to ravelry and see if someone has an approximate. I would have preferred to purchase this pattern, but cest la guerre. thanks for the beautiful cowl photo in Interweave Knits.

  11. I really don't think it's bitchy to point out the absurdity of advertising in a Holiday magazine an item that is a perfect gift and then not have the pattern available. Actually what it is is really poor marketing/misrepresentation.

The pattern is very fast to knit.

  13. Regarding the new book, how will we know when it is available and where can I get a copy. Like everyone else I can't wait to have the pattern for the cowl. I, too, would love to be making those for Christmas.
